The plan is not having a plan - Part II
We decided to continue the celebration our own way and went to visit the town of Lumbini, situated in Terai region, southern Nepal, close to the Uttar Pradesh Indian border at around 250km of Katmandu. It’s known to be the birthplace of Buddha. The atmosphere there was tropical. Very warm and humid, and as it was Diwali, more specificly, brother’s day, everything in the city was closed, so we had to adapt to the current situation, that led us to crazy ‘incidents’.
Even finding food was difficult. As we had to reach Pokhara the next day in order to find our trekking guide Yoguesh-ji, it was a hard one. We didn’t really had a plan, so we were trying to find a solution. Stress was rising inside of me, trying to find internet somewhere, or asking randomly to local people … Then at that very moment luckily appeared from nowhere a friend of Suzeeta that was working in a temple in Lumbini. He helped us to find the bus tickets to Pokhara for the next day.
Visiting Lumbini in that special time left us a very mystical feeling, allowing us to surrender to the unexpected and changing our perspective on ‘incidents’ to ‘synchronicities’.
